Position Details:
- Wages: Secure a minimum of $32.00 per hour, with a chance to make up to $43.00 per hour
- Day shift hours are assigned for Monday through Friday, with start times falling between 3 am and 4:30 am and shifts spanning 10 to 12 hours
- $7,500 Sign-on Bonus!

Position Purpose:
The significance of CDL Delivery Driver cannot be overstated, as they are essential in keeping the nation's food supply chain running smoothly. These drivers are not only responsible for delivering products to customers promptly and in pristine condition, but they also serve as the public face of our company, forging strong and enduring connections with our valued clientele
The driver is accountable for the transportation of food and food-related products to customers by driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck on various routes, including local, shuttle, overnight, drive-and-drop, and over-the-road settings, in adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interacts with customers, vendors, and colleagues in a professional manner, ensuring that questions are addressed accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Operates as a team player within the department and organization, executing any delegated duties to contribute to the company's overall performance.
- Performs the necessary safety checks (e.g., pre and post-trip) by assessing the tractor/truck and trailer as per Department of Transportation (DOT) rules; inspects both the tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they adhere to company safety regulations and implements necessary measures promptly.
- Document and communicate all safety issues and repairs that are necessary.
- Complies with DOT guidelines and company regulations concerning safe driving practices.
- Alerts promptly about any safety dangers. Inspects the trailer to confirm the freight is loaded and secured accurately.
- Checks the quantity of items and customer invoices for accuracy on loaded merchandise.
- Accurately fills out and finalizes all necessary paperwork concerning freight shipments.
- Transport the tractor to the loading dock and link up with the preloaded trailer if necessary.
- Carries out the transportation and delivery of customer purchases following a designated route schedule.
- Transporting goods from the trailer to specified storage locations for customers.
- Executes checks on items to detect damage, scans the products, and liaises with a supervisor to proceed with the cancellation of orders based on company protocol.
- Confirms the reception of products by the customer and acquires the correct signatures.
- Receives money, either in cash or check form, in designated locations. Loads customer returns onto a trailer and ensures the trailer doors are tightly closed.
- Ensures that the tractor, trailer, and cargo are consistently locked and secured to avoid any potential security risks.
- Handle the unloading of damaged products and customer returns, transporting them to the driver check-in area and completing all necessary paperwork. Remove all equipment and materials from trailers and dispose of any waste in the proper manner.
- Documents the daily service hours in a logbook and enters them into the system while following the regulations set forth by the Federal Department of Transportation, state mandates, and company policies.
- Conducts overall housekeeping tasks around the tractor area and loading docks, keeping trailers clean and organized as required.
- Before leaving, ensure all equipment is safely stored and all paperwork is completed.
- Performs extra duties as designated.

Qualification:
- A year's worth of familiarity with commercial driving duties
- Valid CDL A certification is a must-have for this position
- Adhere to State regulations for licensing or certification when required
- To participate, individuals must be 21 years of age or older
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Candidates must pass both a drug screening and criminal background check subsequent to receiving a job offer
- Pass road test
- Current DOT Health Card status or the capability to obtain a new DOT Health Card is essential
- Competent in manually lifting and utilizing two-wheelers, lift gates, and other machinery for the purpose of moving and stacking product cases or freight of diverse sizes and weights over the course of the shift. The weight of the products typically ranges from 10 to 35 pounds, and in certain situations can go up to approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location
